The 2009 Global Report on Human Settlements, themed ‘Planning Sustainable Cities’, was released this week by UN-Habitat. Information is available online here.
UN-Habitat will send copies of this report to the administrative heads of planning schools worldwide, including all full members of ACSP and ACUPP.
A few of the contributing authors in the volume are planning academics from Africa, including: Daniel Inkoom (Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana), Tumsifu Nnkya (Adhi University, Tanzania), Alison Todes (University of Witswatersrand, South Africa) and Vanessa Watson (University of Cape Town, South Africa).
