AAPS project coordinator visits planning schools

Sunday, 6 November 2011

AAPS Project Coordinator Nancy Odendaal is currently visiting the member schools of AAPS. The intention of the visits is to ensure that the ‘Revitalising Planning Education in Africa’ project gets maximum buy-in from member schools, and assist their participation, and also to reinforce the network.

The aim is also to get a better understanding of the context within which AAPS colleagues teach and the facilities available. An important underlying principle is that the visits are intended to reinforce collaboration and assist in deepening the network.

The following schools have been visited thus far: the universities of the Free State, Pretoria, Johannesburg, Witwatersrand, and North-West in South Africa; Kenyatta and Nairobi universities in Kenya; Copperbelt University in Zambia; the Catholic University of Mozambique in Beira; and Ardhi University in Tanzania.
