From 9 to 23 July, 2011, Les Ateliers Internationaux de maîtrise d’oeuvre urbaine will host an international workshop dedicated to the urban planning and design of Bamako, the rapidly growing capital city of Mali. The theme for the workshop is ‘New Urban Centralities’.
Les Ateliers is a French NGO bringing together universities, decision makers and professionals dedicated to planning, development and urban design.
The workshop organisers are encouraging further applications from African urban professionals.
Participants will need to be in Bamako during the 2 weeks of the workshop, from 9 to 22 July. You will not be paid for participating, although all expenses will be covered.
