The World Bank, in collaboration with Women in Informal Employment: Globalizing and Organizing (WIEGO) has produced a study of home-based enterprises in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
The report was prepared under the framework of the Africa Region’s multi-country study on ‘Raising Productivity and Reducing Risks of Household Enterprises’. The objective of this study was to identify concrete policies and interventions to support productivity and income improvement in the Household Enterprise (HE) sector.
