The Research and Capacity Development Branch of UN-Habitat is responsible for the preparation of the Global Report on Human Settlements (GRHS), a UN General Assembly-mandated report published every two years which provides one of the most authoritative reviews of urban trends, conditions and policies.
The Branch is looking to recruit interns for a period of 3 to 6 months in 2013. The interns will work at UN-Habitat’s headquarters in Nairobi, Kenya.
Potential candidates should be enrolled in a degree programme in urban planning and/or regional planning, geography, architecture, economics or other related social sciences, preferably at the postgraduate level.

Note that UN-Habitat will not pay for interns' travel fees, and will only provide a modest stipend.
