The international advocacy network Women in Informal Employment: Globalizing and Organizing (WIEGO) has announced the launch of a new blog platform.
The WIEGO blog is a dynamic and engaging platform for profiling WIEGO’s work, expertise and impact in a timely fashion. There are nine main topic areas - Cities, Economy, Global Advocacy, Law, Livelihoods, Workers' Health, Organizing, Profiles and Statistics - which will be populated with engaging articles in the coming weeks.
The platform provides regular opportunities to highlight the work of WIEGO’s network and to elevate the discussion on improving the lives and livelihoods of informal workers around the world.
