Registrations for the Africities Summit 2015, the premier meeting for Africa’s local authorities, are now open.
Organized every three years by United Cities and Local Governments of Africa (UCLG Africa), Africities has become a distinguished opportunity for the evaluation of the implementation of decentralization policies in Africa.
This year’s edition will be held in Johannesburg, South Africa, from 29 November to 3 December 2015.
Its central theme will be: ‘SHAPING THE FUTURE OF AFRICA WITH THE PEOPLE: THE CONTRIBUTION OF AFRICAN LOCAL AUTHORITIES TO AGENDA 2063 OF THE AFRICAN UNION’.
