The international conference ‘The Right to the City in the South: Everyday urban experience and rationalities of government’ will be held at CESSMA in Paris, from 15 to 17 November 2017.
The conference is part of a research project on the Right to the City hosted since 2013 by CESSMA (Centre d’Etudes en Sciences Sociales sur les Mondes Africains, AmĂ©ricains et Asiatiques) and the research collective Dalvaa. The project is funded by Ville de Paris as part of their ‘Emergences’ initiative.
Proposals for the conference should be sent to this address before 4 May 2017. They should consist of a title, an abstract no longer than 500 words, a short presentation of the author(s) (name, home institution and position, email address), as well as a short bibliography.
