Two PhD researchers have the opportunity to undertake ‘embedded research’ on transportation in Cape Town, South Africa, through a collaborative partnership between the City of Cape Town and the Centre for Transport Studies, University of Cape Town.
Applicants are asked to propose their own research topic that is broadly in line with five themes:
- Hybridity
- Cashless fare collection
- Equitable access
- Behaviour change
- Paratransit e-hailing
- Free or discounted fares
